Vermentino
The grapes are harvested by hand from 15/20 year old plants. After pressing and an initial cleaning, the yeasts are inoculated and the must ferments for around 2 weeks at a temperature of around 12°C. The wine ages on the lees in steel tanks for 5 months and is then bottled. It refines for another 2 months in the bottle before being put on the market.
Light straw yellow colour. Intense nose of flowers typical of the Mediterranean scrub and fresh fruit. The sip is savory, full-bodied, with an aftertaste of fresh almond and good persistence.
Seafood appetizers, first and second courses of fish, shellfish and seafood.
