Vietti, Trevìe Barbera d’Asti DOCG

Traditional red wine vinification in steel, fermentation for approximately two weeks, with daily pumping over; malolactic fermentation follows, also in steel; the wine ages for a year in steel, barriques, and large barrels.

Ruby red color; nose of black cherry and vanilla; balanced, medium-bodied on the palate, with soft tannins and good acidity.

Meat-based appetizers, first courses with meat sauces, roasts, grilled white meats, medium-aged cheeses.
