Vino di Anna Bianco Nave 2022

Made from hand-picked grapes from the estate’s highest vineyard, “Vigna Nave,” located between 1,100 and 1,200 meters above sea level on the northwest slope of Etna, above the village of Maletto. The soil is composed of gray volcanic sand with rich mineral content. The 0.4-hectare vineyard was experimentally planted in 2005 with bush-trained vines. Harvested in mid-September, the grapes are pressed directly from the bunch and fermented in 11-hl chestnut barrels without temperature control. Malolactic fermentation is performed and the wine ages on the fine lees for 18 months. Bottled the following April without fining or filtration.
