Description

The best grapes of the winery, after a careful selection, are subjected to a long natural drying to reach the right sugar concentration. The aging, which lasts many years, takes place in small casks, on “mothers” selected over many decades of dedication to this traditional Tuscan wine. During the long stay in wood the wine undergoes oxidation and further concentration processes which give this wine unique and extraordinary characteristics.

Tasting

With the unmistakable taste of raisins, walnuts, figs, prunes and honey, with oxidative and spicy notes. The sweet and fresh components are admirably balanced.

Pairings

Cantuccini and sweet pastries, dried fruit, spicy cheeses.
