The History
The history of the winery began in 1726 when the Papal States began to cede its land possessions in Bologna. The first document that testifies to the production and sale of wine by the Lodi family (the family on the maternal side) dates back to 1877. Today the brothers Silvia and Cesare run the family business with passion.
Terroir & Winery
The winery is equipped with concrete tanks, the estate’s favorite, wood and stainless steel. The second fermentation takes place with the Martinotti method in steel tanks, also used for the subsequent permanence on the yeasts, with an elevation never less than five months.
