Nebbiolo 100%
It comes from vineyards between 300 and 450m above sea level, in the municipality of La Morra, on soils composed of clay-limestone marl. It owes its name to the Gromis family, from whom Gaja purchased the vineyards in 1995. The wine is aged for 12 months in barrique and 12 months in large barrels.
Garnet red with orange hints. On the nose it is elegant and delicate, in the floral notes of violet and iris, in the fruity ones of cherry and raspberry, with a balsamic base of licorice and roasting. In the mouth a beautiful harmony between body and tannicity, and a long persistence.
Excellent accompanied by important dishes, such as Fassona cheek with Barolo reduction, roast pigeon or lamb chops.
