Description

The vineyards are located on the hills of Castellina in Chianti, between 350 and 400m above sea level, on predominantly limestone soils. The harvest generally takes place in October and the grapes are fermented in steel vats, where malolactic fermentation also takes place. Aging takes place in French oak barrels for 7 months, followed by another 7 in the bottle.

Tasting

Brilliant ruby red color with purple reflections. Fine and complex nose and great balance in the mouth, with a light final note of sweetness.

Pairings

A very versatile wine that prefers structured and important dishes. It certainly also pairs well with moist dishes and medium-aged cheeses.
