80% Sangiovese, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Canaiolo, 5% other red grapes
Organic
Manual harvest with selection in the vineyard; maceration on the skins in steel tanks for 10/15 days at a controlled temperature after a 2-day cryomaceration. It matures for one year, partly in French oak tonneaux, partly in 25hl Slavonian oak barrels.
Brilliant ruby red colour; intense, fragrant, fruity nose, with notes of red fruits, currants, blueberries. Structured, complex and balanced sip, with good freshness and persistence.
Grilled red meats, game, game, mature cheeses.
