Description

In 1991, an old terraced vineyard was recovered, restoring the terrain according to the mountain slope. Thus was born ‘Collina Zinzèle’, characterised by low rows, arranged in the direction of maximum slope, at high density with the aim of obtaining a low yield per vine and a high quality of grapes. Fermentation on the skins for 2 weeks. Aging of the wine in small French oak barrels for approximately 24/36 months and long ageing in the bottle.

Tasting

Red colour with slight garnet hues. Intense nose of small red fruits, wild cherries and sour cherries, with spicy notes of liquorice and vanilla. Robust on the palate with firm tannins; more complex and softer sensations emerge with bottle ageing.

Excellent with game, beef fillet and mature cheeses
