The History
The happy intuition of merging some agricultural parcels in Lasino, near Trento, dates back to 1972, given that taken individually they were insufficient to satisfy the ambition of bottling their own wine, which until then had been sold in bulk. So two years later Domenico Pedrini, Gianni Chistè, Mario Zambarda founded Pravis, bringing together ten hectares of vineyards. Over the years, the vineyards have expanded, as has the corporate family, with the arrival of the second generation: Alessio, Silvio, Giulia and Erika.
Terroir & Winery
At the foot of Castel Madruzzo, kissed by the sun and mitigated by the breeze that caresses the valley, stands the winery, surrounded by limestone rocks. Small scattered parcels make up the property which extends on the hilly side between Trento and Lower Sarca, between the Brenta Dolomites and Lake Garda. Here, the most traditional Trentino varieties are accompanied by international vines, while particular attention is paid to the recovery of varieties in danger of extinction.
